Good full, bright red. Deeper but less exuberant on the nose than the Cheseaux, showing complex scents of raspberry, cherry, pepper and musky underbrush. Broad, suave and seamless, with enticing red berry and spice flavors saturating the entire palate. Finishes very long and perfumed, with good stony grip giving the wine terrific vivacity and a light touch. From a ripe site protected from the north wind and benefiting from a strong mineral underpinning.

Morey-Saint-Denis

Morey-Saint-Denis, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is known for its elegant, well-structured Pinot Noir wines that balance the power of Gevrey-Chambertin and the finesse of Chambolle-Musigny. These wines feature flavours of red and black fruits, earthy spices, and floral notes, with refined tannins and excellent ageing potential. Home to five Grand Cru vineyards, including Clos de Tart and Clos Saint-Denis, top producers like Domaine Dujac, Domaine Ponsot, and Domaine des Lambrays are celebrated for their traditional winemaking and expressive wines.
